She "Brightons" my Day!

Happy Birthday to Brighton! She has been counting down the days until she is SIX! Here are some fun things about Brighton...

1. Most days she asks me for a healthy snack. Her favorites...apples, salads and carrots. On many occasions she turns down chips and chocolate!

2. She is a social butterfly. Where ever we go I can count on Brighton introducing me to her "new best friend" within 5 min. This year Brighton has been so excited for her Birthday she has invited everyone she talks to...to her Tea Party! We had to limit it to Kindergartners she was trying to invite several 5th graders etc!

3. She helps unload the dishwasher, puts her clothes away, and makes her bed everyday and most days does it without complaint. She will always do what ever you ask and is great at finding things that are lost! She helps mom and and Easton with this a lot!

4. She loves to cook and is constantly climbing on the counters to get in on the action.

5. She is quite the performer (and poser as you can tell in most pictures). Her dance teachers told the class to smile throughout the entire routine. I watched, she was the only one with a smile on her face the entire time....some of her steps were off but she still had her smile!

6. She is fun! She is always up for anything and is constantly looking for fun!

7. Brighton loves her Brother to death...literally...she is constantly trying to kiss him just because he doesn't want her too...(secretly I know Easton loves it). She loves to cuddle on the couch with Mom and Dad. Brooklyn receives a lot of attention from Brighton as well!

8. When She knows what she wants she goes after it! When Brighton was 3, we took our family to the circus. During intermission they let you go down to the center ring and see the animals etc. As we walked down I turned and couldn't find Brighton. I panicked! As my eyes scanned the crowd, I spotted her...she butted to first person in line for the Elephant ride. The Circus worker was lifting her up and putting her in the Elephant Saddle! After a quick count they determined that no one had paid for this little 3 yr old and they took her off. This didn't phase her much. Next thing I know she is running toward me tell me she needs $7 dollars for an elephant ride!

9. Brighton is a thinker and is constantly asking questions and testing boundaries (much to her parents dismay). She is so smart and independent at school! She is becoming a great reader and beautiful illustrator!

10. Brighton is... Beautiful, Vivacious, Outgoing, Loving, Creative, Smart, Fun, the list could go on and on but most of all she is my DAUGHTER! We are so grateful for Brighton and were blessed when Heavenly Father gave her to our family! We love you Brighton!
